Applications are now open for Meiji University’s Winter 2027 Short-term Japanese Language Program. Alongside Japanese language classes, participants will take part in project work, exchange activities with Meiji University students, and Japanese cultural experiences.
- Program dates: February 1–12, 2027
- Application period: October 2–November 5, 2026 (Japan Standard Time)
- Program fee: JPY 90,000, including tuition, textbooks, the bus tour and field trips. Accommodation, travel, meals and other personal expenses are additional.
Japanese language levels
- Elementary: JLPT N4 equivalent / CEFR A2
- Intermediate: JLPT N3–N2 equivalent / CEFR B1
Students with no prior Japanese study and those with advanced Japanese proficiency are not eligible. Applicants must take an online Japanese language test after applying.
Accommodation
Participants must arrange their own accommodation. Those wishing to stay at a university-recommended hotel should apply after their participation is confirmed.
