Born 1974 in Tokyo, Japan, she obtained Queensland secondary school teaching certificate in Australia in 2002, followed by a master’s degree in linguistics from a Japanese university. Since 2006 she has been lecturing Japanese language, linguistics and Japanese literature at the University of Zagreb. She was president of the Croatian Association of Japanese Language Teachers and as a member of the Examination and Thesis Committee of the Association of Japanese Language Teachers in Europe. She is the author of Minna no Nihongo Vocabulary Book Croatian Edition and Kenkyusha’s Dictionary of Japanese Compound Verbs.
