To all those involved in Japanese language education outside of Japan
This year’s Global Japan Bowl (Japanese Language and Culture Competition) will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 9:45 p.m. online.
We look forward to the participation of young people from around the world who are studying Japanese!
Date: Sunday, July 6, 2025, 21:45~24:00 (Japan time)
Location: Online (Zoom and Kahoot will be used)
○ Qualifications:
Participants must have studied Japanese as a foreign language in a country other than Japan and be between the ages of 14 and 25 on the day of the competition.
Have stayed in Japan for less than 6 months in total.
Have no Japanese citizenship.
○Notes: The participants must not have Japanese citizenship:
The competition will be held using two online tools, Zoom and Kahoot, so students will need to prepare two electronic devices with Internet access.
Please turn on the camera of Zoom to participate in the event.
The event may be used on social networking sites (e.g. Facebook), video distribution platforms (e.g. Youtube), and other publicity media to report on the event at a later date. Please be sure to confirm this with the students in advance and obtain their permission.
