On August 24, 2024, Lecturer Akihito Uebayashi participated in the East Asian Japanese Language Education and Japanese Culture Research Conference held in Busan, South Korea. His presentation was titled “How Do People Outside Awaji Island Comprehend the Awaji Dialect?: Insights from a Survey on Tsuna-gun Dialect Sentences Comprehension.” Uebayashi specializes in Japanese language education and Japanese dialectology.
