We would like to announce that the information concerning the 2024 MEXT
research student program (by university nomination) is now posted on the
MEXT homepage. please refer to this site. (The website is written in Japanese only.)

Important Notes

• This program is for graduate level students only. Undergraduate students cannot apply to this program unless they are expected to graduate within a year.

・Starting in 2019, those with Japanese or English skills as below are added as a requirement.

For Japanese language;

1. Those who passed JLPT N2 or above at the time of admission to the regular course
2. Those who have completed the curriculum that meets the entrance qualifications for the master’s program or doctoral program in Japan, with Japanese as the main language
3. Those that can be judged at the host university for having Japanese competence equal to or higher than 1

For English language:

1. Those who have a qualification/ certification test score equivalent to CEFR B2 or higher at the time of admission to the regular course
2. Those who have completed the curriculum that meets the entrance qualifications for the master’s program or doctoral program in Japan, with English as the main language
3. Those that can be judged at the host university for having English competence equal to or higher than 1

Graduate School of Education at Osaka Kyoiku University offers only one major, School of Advanced Professional Collaboration in Education.
International students can be accepted in the following course, which is set up as part of the School of Advanced Professional Collaboration in Education.
Please recommend a student who specializes in the course below.

• International Collaboration Education Course
• Only one student can be nominated from each partner university.
• The application documents must be typed, written in either Japanese or English, and printed on A4 size paper. If any of the application documents are not written in Japanese or English, a Japanese translation must be attached.

– Once submitted, we cannot return any of the application documents.

大阪教育大学に関する日本語と英語のレベルは以下の通りです。

・研究生（非正規生）から大学院の正規課程（修士）に進学を希望する場合
　→日本語の要件を満たす必要がある（N2レベル以上）
　※本学の大学院の授業は、日本語で実施されるため。

・大学院の正規課程（修士）への進学を希望せず、研究生（非正規生）のみ希望する場合
　→日本語又は英語の能力要件を満たせば良い
（注意）ただし、希望する研究内容の教員に英語で指導可能な者がいない場合、受入れできない可能性あり。
