Thanks to everyone’s warm support, the summer exam period ended last week, bringing our winter and summer semesters to a successful close.

Our students worked very hard on their Japanology studies this past academic year. One of the major reasons for their success is the wonderful inspiration they received from the Japanese residents in Croatia and the Croatian people closely connected to Japan who took part in our cultural exchanges.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the following people for their continuous understanding and cooperation over the past year:

• Ms. Naoko Sakamoto, Kirie (Japanese paper-cutting art) artist and calligrapher (Instructor for the Kirie and Calligraphy workshops)

• Current and former faculty and staff of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and their friends and associates
